Chip Timing

Chip timing for any type of race. Returnable chips, disposable chips for running races, sportive cycle events, duathlons and triathlons. Bookings also taken from other Timing companies to time your event, with your equipment or my own sourced equipment. Please enquire.

Disposable Chips

Disposable chips are now very popular, reducing the number of volunteers you need to hand out and collect in the traditional chips. The chips can be send out with your race numbers and don't need collecting in afterwards, no more queues! Please contact us for more details.

Transport

SplitSecondTiming uses Hertz Van Rental for it's transport requirements. Mileage rates are calculated on hire rates and the distance from base (Bath) to the event and back. This usually works out at about 45p per mile at current diesel rates.

UHF Timing System and Disposable Chips

The Disposable chip fits on the shoe lace. It can be posted in a standard envelope and does not require collecting back in at the finish.

It's the next leap forward in timing systems using the latest RFID UHF technology and our proprietary software to produce astounding read rates on completely disposable paper thin timing chips. The specification of the box is the best around having a fully functional touch screen PC on board with expansion via USB, 12-24v adapters and a network hub to allow straight forward networking.

'Live' Results Enquiry Screen were competitors can find out their time directly after finishing, available with a receipt printer.

Commentator Screen, tablet computer for your commentator to walk around with to see who has finished with time and position.

SMS Text Message Results straight after the race.

Compact PA System
2 x Mackie srm 450 active speakers (900 watts) with basic CDJs, Ipod interface, stands, cabling and mics as required.
